The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus headphone jacks have slightly larger tolerance than standard headphone jacks causing compatibility issues with some third-party headphones. This issue only occurs with headphones that have a microphone/remote.

To install, slide the O-Ring bumper over the plug until it reaches the bottom.
