USB-C earbuds
Posted by Matthew
I have high hopes for USB-C is a standard connector that will be used across all devices in the future, so you can use the same pair of earbuds with your phone, laptop, tablet, and other devices without the need for multiple cables or adapters.
The data rate of USB should also mean the sound quality can be very high, and many additional features are possible compared to traditional wired earbuds, up to and including features that require power, such as noise cancelation.
Sadly, we are not there yet - these are just regular M6 earbuds with a USB-C connector and no special features besides the mic. And I can't yet plug them into just any device - my laptop and iPad are fine, but my iPhone and desktop require an adapter. Also, the jack on my PS5 controller is still an old school 3.5mm jack, so that's out.
In short, it's a great concept in theory if the majority of your devices have already switched to USB-C. Otherwise, it's just a bit of future-proofing. -
Learning curve, and could be smaller

I have small ears so most earbuds are a little uncomfortable for me including these. Also, the first few times I wore them it took me forever to deal with the ear hooks, but it gets easier with practice. Worth the money but if you have small ears like me beware that you might not be able to wear them longer than 2-3 hours at a time.

Good value USB-C sports earbuds
Posted by Ivanovna
These are among the lowest priced USB C sports earbuds (and with the black friday discount the absolute lowest priced :P). They are not fancy but they work quite well for what they are, especially the sound quality and the fit which are much better/more secure than the wireless earbuds you get at this sort of price point. Picking up a few more sets on sale to give away as gifts - even if people don't work out, they work great with my laptop for videoconferencing and all around use. Sound is much better than the built-in speakers and they take up almost no room in my laptop bag.

Comfortable and good sound quality

I like the ear hooks, was expecting them to make the top of my ears sore like some glasses, but they are actually ok. From an audiophile standpoint, the sound is warm and relatively clear, but somewhat muddy. Burning them in for 100 hours or so helps sharpen things up. The soundstage is actually pretty good (for a set of IEMs). I know these are not currently in vogue and there is a new Best Budget IEM seemingly every week, but these are almost classics at this point and the fact that they are still on the market says something, I think

Good for the price

I use them for listening with my cell phone. This is my second time buying one and it great. Appreciate that the new version has a volume control, not just a button like the old one.

Great sound, but doesn't fit me

Sounds really good for 20 bucks but I just can't find a comfortable fit with them. Wish I could enjoy them for more than an hour at a time because they sound as good or better than any wireless earbuds I've tried at a fraction of the cost.

Motorcycling earbuds

I "upgraded" from a regular set of M6s to this USB-powered set to avoid having to use an adapter. Already knew that the earpieces fit under my helmet so that made it easier than experimenting with a different model. If you're expencting an M6 with a USB connector, this delivers what it promises. If you're looking for something more, then you may be disappointed!

Good bang for your buck!

Great sounding earphones, easy to adjust volume and handle phone calls, come with zipper pouch and a bunch of different earbuds.

Do not have to recharge these earbuds

Great sound quality. Fits ears better than other earbuds. Not wireless but doesn't need to be charged which is 10/10 for me!
