Featuring analog and digital connections for universal compatibility, audio pass-through, and extended-range Bluetooth, the Connect Hub is the ultimate Bluetooth audio accessory for your home.

HD Wireless Sound for Your HDTV

The MEE audio Connect Hub integrates seamlessly into new and existing home theater setups to add high-quality wireless audio streaming for headphones, speakers, phones, tablets, and other Bluetooth devices.

Bluetooth Transmitter

Use the Connect Hub in Bluetooth transmitter (TX) mode to stream clear, distortion-free digital sound wirelessly from TVs and other devices to Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Experience full freedom of movement, listen without bothering those around you, and block out distractions with the Connect Hub and your favorite pair of Bluetooth wireless headphones.

Dual-Headphone Streaming

Stream audio to up to two Bluetooth headphones or speakers simultaneously and adjust volume levels for each independently, allowing users to listen comfortably without bothering each other or those around them.

Hear Your TV Better

Using wireless headphones and speakers with your TV helps you hear dialogue in movies and shows by putting the sound closer to your ears and giving you better control over the volume. The Connect Hub also introduces a VOLUME BOOST feature for RCA/analog audio connections, which can help make the audio output of older TVs louder.

Use with the MEE audio Matrix Cinema headphones for even more hearing assistance functionality.

Bluetooth Receiver

Use the Connect Hub in Bluetooth receiver (RX) mode to stream audio wirelessly from your phone or tablet to your soundbar, home theater receiver, or other non-Bluetooth audio device.

Digital and Analog Connectivity

Features both analog and digital audio connections for universal compatibility with old and new TVs and other devices. Connects via 3.5mm headphone/AUX jack, RCA, or optical S/PDIF (TOSLINK).

Integrated Pass-Through

Audio pass-through functionality lets you plug another device, such as a soundbar, into the Connect Hub to share an audio connection from your TV.

Qualcomm aptX low latency technology

Bluetooth 4.2 wireless technology delivers clear, distortion-free digital audio while the Qualcomm® aptX and aptX Low Latency Bluetooth audio codecs provide even higher audio fidelity, minimize audio lag, and ensure perfect lip-syncing with compatible devices.

Voice-assisted Setup

Built-in status display and speaker provide the Connect Hub with a simplified, voice-assisted setup process. Status readout includes power indicator, volume boost level, and information on the audio connection and Bluetooth codec in use.

Extended Range

Advanced adjustable antenna provides up to 98 ft of wireless coverage for more freedom to position your speakers or move about your home without losing your wireless audio connection.

General Questions

Question: Can the voice prompts of the Connect Hub be disabled?
Answer: Yes, press and hold the Volume Boost (VOLUME+) button for 7 seconds to disable voice prompts. Press and hold for 7 seconds again to re-enable.
Question: Do I need to plug the Connect Hub into a power source?
Answer: Yes, the Connect Hub must be plugged in to a power source for use. You can use a wall adapter, the USB port on your TV, or any other powered USB port.

Note: Many TVs’ USB ports only provide power when the TV is on, so your Connect Hub will power off whenever you turn off your TV. To avoid this you can use a standard USB power adapter (the type that come with most cell phones) and keep your Connect Hub on at all times.
Question: Should I use the Connect Hub in transmitter (TX) or receiver (RX) mode?
Answer: Use the Connect Hub in Bluetooth transmitter (TX) to stream audio from your TV or other wired audio source to a set of Bluetooth headphones or speakers.

Use the Connect Hub in Bluetooth receiver (RX) to stream audio from your phone, tablet, or other Bluetooth wireless audio source to a soundbar, home theater receiver, or non-Bluetooth speaker.
Question: Will the Connect Hub work with all TVs?
Answer: The Connect Hub works with TVs that have at least one supported audio out connection: digital audio out (optical TOSLINK), RCA audio out, or headphone jack.

Note: Some TVs only have a Digital Audio Out coaxial connection, which will require a separate coaxial to optical adapter to work with the Connect Hub transmitter.
Question: Will the Connect Hub work with hearing aids?
Answer: The Connect Hub works with some hearing aids – those that support a standard Bluetooth stereo audio connection (known as the A2DP Bluetooth profile), which allows them to be paired with standard Bluetooth audio sources such as phones, computers, and other Bluetooth transmitters.

There are some hearing aids that require a specialized app or an additional Bluetooth accessory to pair with a Bluetooth audio transmitter. These hearing aids are not compatible with the Connect Hub.
Question: Does the Connect Hub work with the Google Home smart speaker?
Answer: Yes.

Google Home must be set up and updated to the latest software in order to work as a Bluetooth speaker. Put the Google Home in pairing mode by saying “Ok Google, pairing mode”. You can also do this by navigating to Menu -> Devices -> (Google Home device) -> Settings -> Paired Bluetooth Devices -> Enable Pairing Mode in the Google Home app. Once the Google Home is in pairing mode, put the Connect Hub in pairing mode by pressing and holding the Bluetooth button.

Note: the Google Home does not reconnect automatically to paired Bluetooth devices, so this process would have to be repeated whenever it is disconnected from the Connect Hub or the Connect Hub is powered off.

Setup Guide: Getting Started

  1. Expensive but works with new TV 5 Star Review

    Posted by

Purchased this device from Best Buy to replace an older Sennheiser TV headphone that was no longer compatible with my new TV. It is definitely pricey but works perfectly with the new Samsung 8K TV and in the end it was cheaper than buying new TV headphones because I can use my Bose headphones with this device, which are of course much better than my TV headphones were. So in a way, you're getting the best of both worlds!

Setup was easy because I was not yet done setting up the TV, so it was not fully mounted to the wall yet. If you have a TV that's already mounted and takes two people to take down, you're going to want some help with this.

Protip: I taped my transmitter up to the back of the TV so that it's not visible along with the cords. Once you have everything set up, you don't really need access to a transmitter, but I took a photo of it just in case so I know exactly where the buttons are in case I need to feel for them later.
